Hempstead, Texas has a rich history and a charming downtown area that continues to be an important part of Waller County. In the photos, you’ll see some of the landmarks that represent the heart of Hempstead, including the historic Waller County Courthouse

and areas near City Hall in the downtown district.

While spending time in the area, I also visited a few nearby communities where new homes are currently being built. Some of the builder communities shown in the photos, such as Beacon Hill and Atwater, are located in surrounding areas outside of Hempstead but still within the greater Waller County region.

These nearby developments offer additional housing options for buyers who enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Hempstead area while still being close to growing communities and new construction opportunities.
